I love The 69 Eyes and one of my favourite movies is The Crow. So I made a video. You can see some scenes from Helsinki Vampires, too. I hope, you like it.

I found this video clip while looking through some old VHS tapes I had laying around. This was recorded by my mother around 1999/2000; I'm glad she had the blank tape ready to go in the recorder when the show "Miracle Pets" came on. If anyone knows the current situation of these two friends, please post, we're all curious. You might notice at 2:16 she dials the typical "555" number but then the scene switches to the front of the vet clinic. From the video clip, it's easy to see the phone number of the clinic on the sign in front and then google the rest: Meker Veterinary Clinic 649 Washington St South Attleboro, MA 02703 (508) 399-8984 I've noticed someone already copied this video from me and uploaded it like they were the ones who recorded and edited it. Sad that people need to do that.

In the Brevia section of the 9 August 2002 issue of Science, Weir et al. report a remarkable observation: The toolmaking behavior of New Caledonian crows. In the experiments, a captive female crow, confronted with a task that required a curved tool (retrieving a food-containing bucket from a vertical pipe), spontaneously bent a piece of straight wire into a hooked shape -- and then repeated the behavior in nine out of ten subsequent trials.
