Down Low, Pappa Bear, Young Deenay, C-Block, R'n'G, A.K.-S.W.I.F.T., Black Attack, Flip Da Scrip, Lamar u. v. a. hervorbrachte. (ENGLISH) Some information about the eurorap music style, written by me: Eurorap is a music direction which was very popular between 1996 and 1998 and generated acts such as Nana, Down Low, Pappa Bear, Young Deenay, C-Block, R'n'G, A.K.-S.W.I.F.T., Black Attack, Flip Da Scrip, Lamar and many more. The musicians didn't obligatory come from Europe, but the (mostly anglophone) songs were usually produced there. The music is slow up to medium-fast and the melodies are harmonic and catchy. Typically there is an interaction between a male rapper (verse) and a female singer (chorus), though in some groups also the chorus is sung by a man (e. g. Down Low) and some formations manage completely without singing (e. g. Black Attack). Young Deenay was one of the few euro-rappers who got along without a male rapper. But she had a male singer, and this one was no other than Sasha, who is famous nowadays. The most successful song of the eurorap era was "Lonely" by Nana (1997). The track remained on top of the german charts for several months. As from 1999, the peoples interest in Eurorap decreased. Please enjoy this little journey to the past and do also watch my other videos! The tracks used in this clip are: 1. Down Low: Johnny B. 2. R'n'G: Here Comes The Sun 3. C-Block: Summertime 4. Nana: Dreams 5. Lamar: Fly 6. Highland: Bella Stella 7. Black Attack: Bang Bang 8. Pappa Bear: Cherish

A few words about the event The '90s were the time when RAP music sprung out rapidly. The United States were going all crazy over Tupac Shakur, Poland had its own bands in the likes of Kaliber44, Molesta or Trzycha, and Western Europe was ruled by people with African origin - C-Block, NANA and Down Low. The music scene of Poland was just being developed. Even though Western stars ruled charts in Poland, it was not possible to see them live. To witness the performances of Down Low's "Johny B.", Nana's "Let It Rain" or Pappa Bear's "Cherish" (with Jan van der Toorn), one had to go to France or Germany - and such a trip was not affordable for everyone. Now there's an excellent opportunity to make this up. T-Music Euro Rap Mazury Festiwal is a unique chance to see the biggest stars of the European rap of the '90s perform live. In 2009, Ostróda - the capital of Warmia and Masuria - will be ruled by the most popular Euro-Rap acts of the preceding decade. Some of the groups and performers already confirmed are Nana, Down Low, Jay Delano (of R'n'G fame), Jan van der Toorn and many others. Our website will be constantly and regularly updated with regards to the festival and you will be able to find new information added frequently.

Here is another little minimovie I made. I got shome shots over from the "Who's Foolin' Who" video, and I thought I might use them for something else. There were some beautiful autumn colours, so I thought I'd give it a try. Here you go, "The colours of Eurorap".

Eurorap from 1996. If you are wondering where that piano tune originates from; it's from a song by Level-42 called 'Leaving me now'.
