Looks like a clip from some English TOtP-type show, maybe fellow YT users can help me with this one. Either way, Dave and the boys run through Elvis Costello's "Girls Talk," apparently on the same rooftop where they shot a few 45 covers for Carlene Carter.

And keeping the A8 on the technological cutting edge is critical for Audi.

Ford doesn't build Mustangs to fly. That was true back in 1968 when Steve McQueen sent a GT 390 soaring over the hills of San Francisco in Bullitt. And it's true of the new 315-horsepower 2008 Mustang Bullitt. We jumped it anyway. Not because we wanted to, but because we had to. It's a Mustang Bullitt, and that means it's gotta fly. The 2008 Scion xB reminds you of what was accomplished by the first 2004 xB, a car so shocking that the entire Scion brand still revolves around it. Find out more in Edmunds' Inside Line's exclusive First Drive of the 2008 Scion xB....

http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Drives/FullTests/articleId=124046 Over the last 40 years, Toyota has sold more than 30 million examples of the Corolla in 142 countries, earning this automobile the title of the world's best-selling passenger car on the planet. Even with the introduction of the entry-level Toyota Yaris and the youth-oriented Scion models, Toyota still managed to sell a record-breaking 390,000 Corollas in 2006 and is on track to match that number this year.

We admit that after a day of driving the redesigned 2008 Honda Accord, our reporter's notebook was completely blank. It's not that there's nothing to say about how the 2008 Accord drives. It's that the Accord drives as brilliantly as it always has. In the rising tide of class sophistication, the Accord has maintained its position among competitors. It's smoother than the sometimes coarse Nissan Altima. And it's more alert in its responses than the cushy, isolated Toyota Camry.

For Edmunds' Inside Line article: http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Drives/Followup/articleId=121814 Five years since its rebirth, the Nissan 350Z remains one of the world's great performance bargains. But it isn't pretty. It isn't subtle. And it doesn't care whether you think the cabin is stylish or not. This is all part of the hard-core image Nissan has built for the Z. And rather than back away from it as the end of the Z-car's model cycle nears, Nissan is pushing this car's character right to the edge of reason.

More than any other hybrid we've driven, the 2007 Toyota Camry Hybrid has the most seamless transition between electric motor and gasoline engine. If we didn't tell you it was a hybrid and let you drive it, we doubt you would notice. And unlike Toyota's Prius, which was purposely designed to look special with its little shifter and Alpine cable car-like design, the Camry Hybrid looks almost identical to the non-hybrid Camry. They're driving among us and you don't even know it.

The high-pitched whine as the 2009 Honda FCX Clarity's "engine" spools up is a sound as futuristic as any to be heard aboard the Millennium Falcon. Except the Star Wars ship is all fiction and movie magic. The FCX Clarity is all fact. The future — green, fuel-efficient and petroleum-free — is here. GM brought the Chevrolet Volt to the Edmunds.com Santa Monica office to give Edmunds' employees a sneak peak at what GM is calling the production show car.

With its all-new Megatron-faced 2007 MDX, Acura wants the MDX to be mentioned in the same breath as the Porsche Cayenne and BMW X5. Doing so required the new MDX to be a much hotter tamale than the lame-duck MDX in nearly every way, so Acura endowed the 2007 model with a formidable dynamic repertoire. Effectively negotiating the opposing tables of performance, utility and comfort is a delicate balancing act that the smarter, buffer MDX pulls off convincingly.

At this moment, the 2007 GMC Sierra Denali is the most powerful pickup in regular production that money can buy. Dodge let the insane Ram SRT-10 fade away last year, Ford hasn't built the beloved F-150 Lightning since 2003 and the newly muscular Toyota Tundra is more than 20 horsepower behind. In fact the only open-bed contraption that matches the Sierra Denali pony-for-pony is the Cadillac Escalade EXT, which shares GM's 403-horsepower, 6.2-liter OHV V8 and six-speed automatic transmission.

http://www.edmunds.com/insideline/do/Drives/FullTests/articleId=121924 Audi has figured out that a coupe should be beautiful, not merely exclusive. Even as the typical German sedan has become a beast with swollen fenders and a massive grille, designed to bludgeon the meek out of the fast lane on the autobahn, the 2008 Audi S5 has a different look. Its curving contours are leaner, more expressive and more energetic.

There is no perfect police car, but the 2007 Dodge Charger Police Package is as good as it gets right now. In fact, it's the quickest and fastest police sedan ever sold to law enforcement agencies through normal government bidding processes — you know, processes where "low bid" means "good enough."

For just a minute, forget about slalom speeds and skid pad Gs. Forget about track testing and torque, forget about overhead cams and final-drive ratios and focus on what an SUV like the 2007 Hyundai Santa Fe is really supposed to deliver. Its true test is in how it handles the rigors of weekly shopping trips, bar mitzvahs, birthdays, daily commutes and the occasional trip to Grandma's house.
