(GERMAN) Eine kleine Info zur Musikrichtung Eurodance, verfasst von mir: Eurodance bezeichnet eine Musikrichtung, die etwa von 1992 bis 1995 sehr populär war und Interpreten wie Culture Beat, La Bouche, Snap, Haddaway, Music Instructor, Pharao, Masterboy, Mr. President, Dr. Alban, Ice MC u. v. a. hervorbrachte. Die Interpreten selbst stammten nicht zwangsläufig aus Europa, die (überwiegend englischsprachigen) Songs wurden jedoch zumeist dort produziert. Die Musik, die vermutlich aus Stilrichtungen wie Euro Disco hervorging, ist vorwiegend mittelschnell, unterlegt mit einem techno-ähnlichen Rhythmus, und besteht aus harmonischen, elektronischen Klängen, die von Zeit zu Zeit mit Reggae-Elementen kombiniert werden. Typisch ist ein Wechselspiel zwischen einem männlichen Rapper (Strophe) und einer weiblichen Sängerin (Refrain), wobei auf den Refrain häufig instrumentale Einlagen folgen.
