Calling "Barbarella" a "campy film" is to be polite about it. Starring Jane Fonda, this 1968 movie came out in the same year "2001: A Space Odyssey" was released; whereas the latter is a sci-fi masterpiece, the former only manages to secure a spot in late-night cult showcases. (NOTE: the original soundtrack was rejected by Warner Music Group, thus the new soundtrack.)

From "Jane Fonda's New Workout." Okay, the clothes are terrible, the music's cheesy and the audio is slightly out of sync (encoding problems), but this is still probably the most time-efficient ab workout I've ever come across. Plot: After Bob Ford shoots Jessie James in the back, Frank James assumes that he and his brother Charlie Ford will be tried for murder. A court rules for the Ford brothers, since Jessie was wanted 'dead or alive'. Enraged by the court's decision, and what he perceives as a miscarriage of justice, Frank hunts down the now famous Ford brothers. He catches up with them at a theater during a dramatic reenactment of the shooting in which they star in a totally fraudulent account of the killing. Jesse and Frank are depicted as robbers of common folk, and Frank is shown hiding behind a woman. Frank decides now is the time to make the Ford brothers pay. Frank gets Charlie. In her first major film role, sparkling Gene Tierney is beautifully sweet as a reporter enamored with Frank.
