Cabbie Benjer, Max, and Sam "Two-Guns" Jones would just like to eat pie and enjoy their festive night with a good movie. However, the evil ancient cult know as the Ansents, have other plans... Wrote for Halloween of 2006, and then finally made in 2008, and winner of the Bricks In Motion "Brickfilming Halloween Competition 2," here is the fourth installment of the Spirit Stompers saga. Technically, this is not the version entered into the BHC2 contest, since the maximum time limit was 10:00, so I had to edit out the scene after the credits for the contest version. Also, this version has a few changes in the sounds, since I had more time to work on the audio than I did for the contest version. This is the fourth Halloween brickfilm that I've made; I've managed to complete one for every year that I've been animating. And this is certainly the best that I've made. At least I think so.

SPOILER WARNING! If you haven't read Deathly Hallows, don't read/watch this. So, I wanted to do this since I finished Deathly Hallows, but I was too busy crying for those who died and making videos about them (sniff). It's not exactly what I expected, and I'm not very proud of it, but hey, I tried. I'm going to explain the trailer in case someone doesn't understands it, so here it goes: - Ok, so the video begins with Harry as a baby and the scene losing his parents, and then losing Sirius and Dumbledore (Snape killing him) - Then I tried to put a scene of a few characters who Harry loves and must leave behind. I put more than one about Ginny, because she's the person who he will miss the most. The scene when Ginny is dancing and Harry looks sad it could be at the wedding, Ginny dancing and Harry wanting to get near her but he can't because he promised Ron not to. - Then a few scenes with Harry, Ron and Hermione, and I put the scene when the three of them are walking through a forest (going to the Quidditch World cup) as if they were just walking through the Forest of Dean or something (just pick one, they spend 90% of the time surrounded by trees) - Now a bit of Voldemort, and I put the sword and the locket, but it looks a bit weird. Anyway, then you can hear Hermione saying "We can do this, the three of us can figure it out" - "I'm going to kill you Harry Potter, I'm going to destroy you" - A few scenes showing the wizarding world being a mess and Voldemort saying "No one will ever again question my power" - Then Ron leaving the tent after the argument and Hermione saying "Ron!". Then Hermione crying because he's gone, and Harry a bit sad. - Then Snape looking at Dumbledore, because his loyalty lies with him. - And now Harry drowning in the lake trying to get the sword and a hand pulls him out, and it turns out to be Ron, who just saved his life. You can see Ron coming out of the water and then both of them wet and talking about it (I wish I could put a scene about the hug, that's soooo sweet!) - And now the friends who died. You can see Dobby, then Harry crying, and again Dobby lying on the ground and Harry's voice: "Dobby! Please don't be dead" and then Harry digging his grave. Next, the wall falling apart and Fred lying on the floor, with Harry's voice: "No, NO! Fred...". Now Nagini, and then Snape falling (because he's been attacked), Harry kneeling beside him and Snape looking at him and a voice says "Look at me" (It's supposed to be Snape). Then Lupin, and then Tonks and Moody, and then a hand of a dead body, representing all the unknown that died in the final battle. - And now Dumbledore (I put a scene where he looks younger) and next Aberforth, and then a portrait with a girl. She's supposed to be Ariana. - A few shots of younger Lily (Rachel Hurd-Wood) and one of Lily and Snape looking at each other, with voices: "I'm Sorry" "Go away". Then Lily's letter and Snape crying. - Dumbledore and Snape in the pensive, and then Harry comes out of it and realizes what he must do. He walks and founds Ginny and Harry looks at her for the last time with his invisibility cloak on, and Ginny turns because she feels something and Harry runs because he doesn't want to be discovered. Now he's walking through the forest and then the snitch with the words "I open at the close" on it. And now Voldemort killing Harry. Voice "You'll be OK Harry. You're a great wizard. You really are." - Harry and Hermione running (random scene), then Harry's house at Godric's Hollow and Harry and Hermione looking at it (I know they're not supposed to look like them, but anyway...) and Hermione's voice saying "We're in this together". Hagrid carrying Harry's body. Now it shows Ron and the Deluminator, then Hermione and the book, and then Harry and the snitch, and remembering how he caught it. Then Hermione crying (I didn't think a specific scene, just pick one of the times when she cries for Ron, how cute!). Then Draco, Crabbe and Goyle, and then fire (It's supposed to be Crabbe's curse). Then Bellatrix and Ginny fighting (before Molly arrives). Hagrid crying for Harry, Gringotts, and Hermione being tortured, saying "Please! please stop it!" and Ron, Harry and Luna in the cellar, Ron shouting "Hermione!". Now Dumbledore and King's Cross in Harry's mind, and Harry returning to life, then Harry and Ginny, and then (Yeah!) Hermione kissing Ron (I tried my best XD). Then the dragon and Harry on it. - Some scenes with Harry and Voldemort, and the last one saying "There is no good and evil, there is only power" and then "You will lose everything". And finally Voldemort and Harry fighting (I know, they fight in the castle, but....) And that's it! Enjoy! Songs: "My skin" - Natalie Merchant "Nara" - E.S. Book's Release Date: July 21, 2007 This is a home-made trailer for the final Harry Potter book, which has an expected release sometime this year. I used footage from the first four movies and music from the soundtracks to edit it together. Enjoy, can't wait for Book 7!

This film was made after a long period of "creative drought" where I was simply unable to write a script that works, or find the energy, enthusiasm or motivation to be creative like I used to. All Hallows Steve marks the end of this drought, I've got my creative mojo back and I'm enjoying the creative process again. All Hallows Steve once again finds us in the company of Steve and Dave as they navigate their way through finding a new place to live after their old apartment was vaporized by a suicide bomber ninja. (in "sai the magic word") It also happens to be what is probably Steve's favorite holiday, Halloween. This film was made over the course of four days, the first day was all about getting the script to work as I blew the thick layers of dust off the chair on my shoulder where the muse sits. Day two I dug out the boxes in which my lego collection had laid dormant and happily spilled them on the floor, and got to work building the all new sets in which Steve and Dave find themselves in. Sitting on the floor bent over a pile of lego all day took it's toll on my chronic back problem, but all artists must suffer for their art. I also recorded all the dialogue and some sound effects, and dug far into the night creating the audio timeline paving the way for the animation Day three was the animation. I tried a few new tricks, with varying success. It was a nine hour animation cyclone and being bent over the set for nine hours made my already aching back scream for mercy, but when I get in the zone I just can't stop. It was 6pm when I realized I hadn't eaten all day. Day four I spent a few hours adding in extra sound effects, environmental noise fiddling with the levels and then spent some time tweaking the timing and editing. All in all, I feel good about this movie, and had fun making it, which after all is why I do this. Enjoy.
