This was my entry for the Nintendo Shortcuts Showcase contest. I litterally finished it days before the deadline and mailed it to them by express mail. I came up with the idea out of no-where. I just woke up early one morning, pulled out all my Lego's and started building. After I was done, I decided to make this film. Tell me what you think! If you all like it...I think I'll do something even more amazing. Oh---btw---I didn't use my screename (Kooberz) cause I don't want Nintendo to own that.
In our second installment of Talking to Miis, the Christmas special we talk about some of the features that the mii has and that the 360 have. Featuring Big Bear representing the Wii and Bob the New Xbox 360 avatar representing the Xbox 360. The two will also give there holiday remarks in an odd yet interesting performance. Also, one fact mentioned by the characters is fictitious. What one do you think it is? Mind you, we are not taking sides in this video but post below as to who you think won. this video displays most little secrets in wii sports, in tennis changing the court, in bowling changing the ball colour(color), and the infamous 91 pins trick. I get comments on this nearly everyday... i cant believe people are still playing a tech demo xD
Using the infrared camera in the Wii remote and a head mounted sensor bar (two IR LEDs), you can accurately track the location of your head and render view dependent images on the screen. This effectively transforms your display into a portal to a virtual environment. The display properly reacts to head and body movement as if it were a real window creating a realistic illusion of depth and space. By Johnny Chung Lee, Carnegie Mellon University. Using an IR led array and some reflective tape, you can track fingers in thin air using the Wii Remote by Johnny Chung Lee, Carnegie Mellon University. Download this at http://hbc.hackmii.com This is a demo of the Wii Homebrew Channel beta, powered by devkitPPC / libOGC. Credits too numerous to list here. Don't mind the temporary test data; these apps are being loaded off an SD card. The channel also has built-in support for loading ELFs/DOLs via USBGecko and TCP/IP (shown at the end, when Linux is loaded).
